Browse the catalog, choose your dates and send the request. The owner has 24 hours to approve; once approved, you complete the card payment and the booking is confirmed.

Only once the owner approves your request. Before that nothing is charged — just a temporary authorization.

Do I need an ID or deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes: you must be 21+, have a valid government ID and a payment method in your name. Some owners require a refundable security deposit.

How much does Rentologo charge?

Accepted Answer

The renter pays a 7.5% service fee on the rental price. You, as the owner, receive 92.5% of the listed price in your Stripe Connect account after the successful return.

What happens if the gear comes back damaged?

Accepted Answer

You report the damage with photos within the first 24 hours. Rentologo mediates using the evidence and the renter's protection option.

Can I cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

More than 7 days before pickup: 100% refund. Between 2 and 7 days: 50%. Less than 48 hours: no refund.
