Rental Agreement
A copy is signed in person at pickup. This is a preview.
1. Equipment
Renter rents the items listed on the Booking. Renter inspects all items at pickup and reports any defects immediately.
2. Period & return
Rental runs from pickup to return as printed on the Booking. Items returned after the agreed return time are billed one full day per partial day late.
3. Use & care
Renter agrees to use equipment for its intended purpose, by trained operators, in dry conditions unless equipment is rated otherwise. No subletting.
4. Loss & damage
Renter is fully responsible for loss, theft, fire, water damage, and damage beyond normal wear from pickup until return. Repair or replacement is billed at retail. The optional Damage Waiver caps Renter's liability at the deductible printed on the Booking.
5. Security deposit
Renter authorizes a refundable hold on the credit card on file equal to the equipment's stated Replacement Value. Automatically released no later than 5 days after the rental ends if the Owner does not claim part of it for damages. The Owner may also release it earlier.
6. Indemnity
Renter indemnifies Rentologo against any third-party claims arising from Renter's use of the equipment.
7. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
